Chamber to Host Update on Business Issues Pending in Albany

From The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce:

The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce will address a number of critical business issues pending in Albany during the 2013-14 legislative session.

The program, “Unfinished Business: What New York Needs to Do for Business this Year” will feature speakers from two of New York’s leading business organizations. Featured speakers include Mike Durant, State Director, National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and Brian Sampson, Executive Director, Unshackle Upstate.

The program will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. at Terra Cotta Catering, 81 State Street, Binghamton, NY 13901. Cost is $15 and includes lunch. This program is open to the public.

Join us for important updates on proposals, including a proposed Minimum Wage increase, reforms to Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment Insurance and the Scaffold Law.
