Child Pornography Arrest

On January 20, 2010 the Endicott Police and the FBI with the assistance of the United States Attorney’s Office, Vestal Police, Broome County Government Security Division C.A.T.S. Unit, Southern Tier Cyber Predator Task Force and the US Marshal’s arrested 61 year old Larry T. Crosley for one count each of knowingly receiving several video depictions involving the use of a minor in a sexually explicit conduct and of knowingly possessing videos which contain visual depiction involving the use of a minor in sexually explicit conduct.

The investigation was started after it was reported that Crosley was taking inappropriate photographs of a 13 year old girl. It is not believed that the girl was physically harmed in anyway. On August 9th, 2009 the Endicott Police with the assistance of the Vestal Police executed search warrants at Crosley’s residence in Vestal and at his business, Endicott Pools and Spas located at 235 Vestal Ave. in Endicott. Several computers and numerous other pieces of digital media were seized at that time and then sent to the Broome County Security Computer Analysis & Technical Services (C.A.T.S.) lab for analysis. The C.A.T.S. lab located numerous videos depicting child pornography on one of Crosley’s computers. A Federal Arrest Warrant was issued and he was arrested by the Endicott Police at his business without incident.

Crosley was arraigned at the United States Federal Building in front of US Magistrate Judge Peebles via video and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
