Creating a Calm & Composed Community To Be Presentation Topic

On Friday March 15th, 850 parents, caregivers and professionals are coming together to listen to a full day presentation by Dr. Becky Bailey, from Loving Guidance Inc, and the creator of Conscious Discipline. For the past three years community members who work with children, as well as parents have been learning about the 7 life skills needed to respond rather than react to life events. On Friday, How to Address Bullying will be the afternoon focus.

This conference which will be taking place at the First Baptist Church of Johnson City on Reynolds Road is sponsored by the Children and Youth Services Council and the Family Violence Prevention Council.
