John C. Delaney, Joshua R. George, arrested on 11-3-09

From Cortland Sheriff:

Defendants: John C. Delaney age 29 76 West Main St. Dryden, N.Y.

Joshua R. George age 17 1010 Rt. 79 Richford, N.Y


Charges: Burglary in the 3rd degree

Grand larceny in the 4th degree

Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree

Petit Larceny



Jurisdiction: Town of Marathon.


The above defendants were arrested on the above charges on 11-3-09. It is alleged that on October 29th 2009 they broke into the Marthon Lanes Bowling alley located at 1004 Rt.11 in the Town of Marathon. It is alleged that the defendants broke into the bowling alley and stole beer, alcohol and money from within. Several vending machines owned by Robbins Vending Company were also damaged during the commission of the above crimes. The defendants were arraigned in Marathon Town Court on 11-4-09 and returned to the Cortland County Jail with bail being set at $5000 cash/$10000 bond. Both defendants are due back in court on December 9th 2009
