Man Hides Marijuana in Fake Leg

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office arrested a South New Berlin man for Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th degree after he was found to possess approximately two ounces of marijuana.
While investigating a suspicious person complaint on State Route 79 in the Town of Fenton, Mark G. Caputo was found to be in possession of the marijuana. The marijuana was observed in plain view through a hole in Mr. Caputo’s denim pants. Investigating officers observed the bag containing marijuana attached to a prosthetic limb under the denim pants.
Mr. Caputo was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Fenton Court at a later date.
