RICHARD E. LITTLE arrested for Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree

Subject arrested for Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree

(Unadilla, NY – October 26, 2009) On October 25, 2009, the New York State Police at Sidney, N.Y., arrested 67 year old RICHARD E. LITTLE of Franklin, N.Y., for two counts of Felony of Reckless Endangerment 1st degree. Investigation revealed that on the afternoon of October 25, 2009, RICHARD LITTLE was involved in a verbal dispute outside of his residence with a man and woman from Sidney, New York. The dispute escalated when RICHARD LITTLE returned from his residence brandishing a long gun and discharged one round towards the male. LITTLE discharged a second round during a physical altercation when the man and woman attempted to take the gun from him. All three sustained minor injures during the altercation. LITTLE was taken to A.O. Fox Hospital where he was treated, released and taken into custody. LITTLE was arrested for two counts of Reckless Endangerment 1st degree. He was arraigned by Town Justice Steven T. Rose in the Town of Franklin Court and remanded to Delaware County jail in lieu of $25,000 cash /$50,000 property bond.

On Monday October 26, 2009, a search warrant was executed at the LITTLE residence at which time numerous firearms were secured. The investigation is continuing.
