Subject Arrested for Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest


(Union, NY – October 18, 2009) On October 17, 2009, at 1:21 pm, the New York State Police at Endwell with assistance from the Broome County Sheriffs Department, arrested Gregory R. M. Andriola, DOB 04/09/85, of Gansevoort, New York, for Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree, and Resisting Arrest. Troopers responded to a 911 call of a male subject attempting to break into a residence at 947 ½ Day Hollow Road in the Town of Union, Broome County. Upon arrival, Troopers located Andriola at the door of the residence attempting to gain entry. When Troopers placed Andriola under arrest he actively resisted their efforts. Andriola was arraigned in the Town of Union Court and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail. Investigation is continuing.
