Subject Arrested for Burglary of Occupied Residences

(Unadilla, NY – November 10, 2009) On November 9, 2009, The New York State Police in Sidney arrested MARK A. CLARK Jr. (age 23) of Oneonta for nine counts of Burglary in the Second Degree (C Felony) and three counts of Petit Larceny (A Misdemeanor) following the investigation into numerous residential burglaries that have occurred in the Otsego County area since August, 2009. CLARK is charged with illegally entering occupied residences at night and stealing property. Eight of these residences are located in the Village of Unadilla with the remaining residence being an apartment located on the Hartwick College Campus, Oneonta, N.Y. Clark is further charged with stealing miscellaneous property from unlocked vehicles in the Village of Unadilla.

CLARK was arraigned in the Town of Unadilla Court and remanded to Otsego County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail/$50,000 bond. A Felony Hearing is scheduled for Monday, December 14th at 4:00pm.
