Cortland, NY (30 NOV 09) – Unique to New York State, Waterfalls Spa at Greek Peak Mountain Resort is set to open December 1st. The 5,500 square foot international spa was designed by Aspen Spa Management of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. All spa technicians have completed intensive training for one month to achieve the professional levels found in Europe and South Asia. Waterfalls Spa will cater to the guests of Greek Peak Mountain Resort, as well as open to the public.


The interior design incorporates the principles of Feng Shui to promote harmony and positive energy flow. Unique to New York State, Waterfalls Spa has only private rooms, with no common areas to ensure greater tranquility and customization of treatments. To complete the ambiance, a collection of photographs have been created exclusively for Waterfalls Spa inspired from the woods, streams and regions surrounding Greek Peak Mountain Resort. Valerie Verona, artist and photographer, utilized her love of nature to help reflect the spa’s serene environment.


Signature treatments include the Après-Ski massage, Climate facials, and the Pilate massage based on the Joseph Pilate’s exercise approach currently not offered anywhere else in America. Waterfalls Spa will offer a comprehensive spa menu of services such as massage, facials, hydrotherapy, manicures, pedicures, and hair styling. Consistent with the holistic philosophy of the spa, Waterfalls Spa will carry the all natural French skincare line, La Phyto, as well as several other compatible lines.

Spa treatments can be experienced in a number of ways. Guests can choose services from the menu or they can request a private consultation with a spa manager to assist them with selecting spa services. Luxurious Waterfalls Spa suites may also be reserved for a desired period of time.
