Dec. 1st The Teacher Center of Broome County will be offering a Substitute Teacher Information session from 11 a.m. to Noon. Dec. 5th the Binghamton H.O.G. "Christmas for Kids" fund raiser at STHD (Southern Tier Harley Davidson) on 1152 Front Street in Binghamton will be from 9a.m. – 4 p.m. There will 50/50 cash drawing, Bake Sale Wheel, Blood Drive and in store sales.
Dec. 5th Clinton Street Event and Tree Lighting. Meet at St. Michaels at 2 p.m. The adult trolley tour – 3 churches. For kids 5-12 years there will be games and caroling. Tree lighting at 6 p.m. at St. Michaels.
Dec. 5th beginning at 9 a.m. the Boy Scout Troop 152 from Kattelville will hold their Annual Christmas Tree Sale along with their monthly Chicken BBQ, until all trees and chicken are sold. The location for the Chicken BBQ remains on RT 12A, at the parking lot of “The Brass Lantern” tavern. Christmas Trees cut fresh the day of the sale. The same great chicken and salads everyone loves will be available.
Dec. 5th The League of Women Voters Brunch at 10 a.m. at the Endicott Visitor’s Center on 300 Lincoln Avenue in Endicott, with Speaker Ray Denniston, former Food Services Director of the Johnson City School District, and the topic will be: "Using Local Foods: Pros and Cons." This will include trends toward consumption of local foods and national and state policies toward that goal. Donations will be accepted for a Brunch of breakfast pizza, fruit cup and beverages.
