The 2nd annual Polar Express Lionel Trains display is up and running through Jan 31, 2010. Children and the child in you will enjoy the magical colorful 12 X 8 foot display featuring the Lionel Polar Express and Erie/Lackawanna "Phoebe Snow" passenger trains planned and built by Owego residents Frank Bocek, Jeff Davis and Dick Monaco. The Erie/Lackawanna was the train that serviced the Binghamton area.

Jan. 10th The Second Sunday at The Phelps classical concert series continues: "Novo4tet," the four principal string players of the Binghamton Philharmonic, will perform: Uli Speth and Amy Christian, violinists; Martha Brody, violist; and Hakan Hromek, cellist. The concert is in the ballroom of Phelps Mansion Museum on 191 Court Street in Binghamton. The cost for the concert and a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception with the musicians immediately following the concert is $10. Tickets are available at the door.

Jan. 24th The Humane Society will be hosting an All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti & Meatball Dinner at the American Legion Post #80, 76 Main Street, Binghamton from 12pm-5pm. Dinner will include beverage, salad, Italian bread, all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatballs and a delicious dessert. Take out meals will be available.
