They will be show casing art work from local art educators in the Southern Tier at the Black Bear Winery, Chenango Bridge. Nov. 2nd The Broome County Office for Aging and the local school districts have teamed up to offer senior citizens indoor walking during the winter months. Sites are open through April 30. Seniors can walk at the designated sites only during the scheduled times, Monday – Friday. When the schools are closed for holidays and snow days, etc., there will be no walking program. Nov. 10th Chenango Forks School District, in cooperation with the Chenango Forks PTA, is proud to host a month long exhibition of the national traveling art show “The Traveling Pants/Delta Denim environmental art exhibition”. Nov. 16th The Hospice of Chenango County offers a six-week grief support group focused on surviving the holiday season. The group will meet Monday evenings from 5:30-7:00 beginning at the Hospice office in Norwich. Nov. 21st The 11th Annual Susquehanna County Health Fair will be at Blue Ridge High School located just off Route 11 between New Milford and Hallstead Pennsylvania from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be free health screenings that include but are not limited to: cholesterol, blood sugar, skin cancer glaucoma and hearing. All are on a first come first served basis. There will be many government agencies and businesses on hand to offer valuable information.
