Over at Binghamton University the Men's Baseball team is already racking up some honors.
America East named Sophomore Left fielder Jake Thomas as Player of the week. Thomas went 7 for 13 with 7 RBI's and six runs scored in the four game set against VMI. Senior Jay Lynch was named America East Pitcher of the Week. He threw 6 scoreless innings in game 2 of the series and only allowed 3 hits. And Freshman pitcher and DH Jake Cryts earned Rookie of the Week honors. He got his first collegiate win in relief and also picked up his first two collegiate hits in the D-H spot.
The Bearcats are 4-4 and head to Greensboro, North Carolina for a four game series against North Carolina A&T.
