Weather conditions Monday morning began on a pleasant note as most areas observed a nice amount of sunshine and drier weather. Fog was patchy in nature within a few valley locations early during the morning hours. Mainly sunny weather through this afternoon will allow for daytime highs to rise into the lower 80s.

A series of weak cold fronts will allow for some scattered shower or thunderstorm activity both Monday and Tuesday afternoons. The weather fronts are located just north of Lake Ontario, and as each day passes so will both weather fronts. Temperatures will not cool-down all that much with each passing front.

High pressure will return to the region during the mid-week. Drier weather is forecast, with comfortable afternoon temperatures into the 70s. Morning lows will be a little on the chilly-side with temperatures into the upper 40s and low 50s.

Winds from the southwest are forecast to develop through Friday and the weekend. As we kick of the first day of summer Friday morning temperatures will rise nicely into the lower 80s. Middle to upper 80s will make our distant weekend feel toasty!
