A weak cold front will allow for some scattered shower or thunderstorm activity through Tuesday. The weather front is tracking south from Lake Ontario, which will be the driving force for any showers or thunder. Temperatures are forecast to be cooler Tuesday due to clouds and more of northerly wind flow. Readings into the 70s are looking likely through this afternoon.

High pressure will return to the region during the mid-week. Drier weather is forecast, with comfortable afternoon temperatures into the 70s. Morning lows will be a little on the chilly-side with numbers coming in around the upper 40s and low 50s.

Winds from the southwest are forecast to develop through Friday and the weekend. As we kick of the first day of summer Friday morning temperatures will rise nicely into the lower 80s. Middle to upper 80s will make our distant weekend feel toasty! A few showers or thunderstorm may develop Sunday afternoon.
