More of that muggy feeling will be in play today. Temperatures should be in the mid 80s for highs and with dewpoints in the 60s, humidity will make it uncomfortable. In terms of sky conditions, expect partly sunny skies will be the case much of the day until this evening where the chance of a shower and possibly a thunderstorm could develop in the Southern Tier.

The same setup will be the case for Wednesday as well. Temperatures will be around 86, with humidity pushing the heat index up and feeling as if it is in the 90s. Better chance for a thunderstorm into the evening as all the warmth creates unsettled conditions. Cloudier skies and storms again for Thursday with the passage of a cold front Thursday night. This will mean cooler temperatures into the upper 70s and relief from the muggy air.

While temperatures will be cooler in the low 70s Friday and into Memorial Day weekend, sunny skies will regain control of our skies the entire weekend.
