Ingredients3 squares (1 oz each) unsweetened chocolate
1/3 c. water
1 qt. heated milk
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt (optional)
garnish with peppermint cane
Directions
Stir chocolate and water in medium saucepan over low heat until chocolate has melted (mixture will thicken). Gradually whisk in milk, then sugar and salt until smooth. Serve hot.
Can be made ahead and refrigerated and then reheated.
