Broome County Health Department to Hold H1N1 Vaccination Clinic for Pregnant Women

BINGHAMTON, NY – On Monday, November 9, 2009, the Broome County Health Department, located at 225 Front Street, Binghamton, NY, will hold a no-cost H1N1 vaccination clinic for pregnant women. The clinic hours are from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pre-registration is not required.

Pregnant women are at higher risk for complications from the H1N1 virus and are more likely to be hospitalized. Vaccination is the best protection against the virus.
