Back on the track yesterday in Phoenix.
A lot less chatter about Danica Patrick this week. A little more chatter about the National Rifle Association sponsoring the April 13th race at the Texas Motor Speedway. But all that aside, Sunday was all about Carl Edwards who finally ended his NASCAR Sprint Cup winless streak of 70. He led 122 circuits, including the final 78 laps. Needless to say, for Edwards, being back in the winners seat has never felt better.
Carl Edwards says, "You get a victory helps us be in a better position for the chase. It just feels good to win. I'm just very glad to be here. So yeah."
Next up on the Series is the Las Vegas Cup.
