A local artist known for her rich use of color has decided to go black and white for her latest exhibit.
Shades is a series of recent paintings by Angela Cook which is now hanging at the Bundy Museum in Binghamton. Cook says her works are an expression of how she's feeling at the time she's painting. She'll also have on display a new batch of what she calls "Littles." They're small canvases on little easels.
Angela Cook says, "They're a very small piece of art. I found that people like the size, as opposed to buying a big piece that you would hang on a wall. These you can put on a book shelf or a night stand."
Shades has its official opening during First Friday from 6 to 9 pm. The Bundy Museum of History and Art is located at 129 Main Street on Binghamton's West Side.
