A Binghamton University student has died from heart failure while playing intramural basketball.
19 year old Samuel George was playing basketball on Wednesday with friends at the West Gym when he collapsed.
Medics were unable to revive him.
George was a 2008 graduate of Binghamton High School.
According to his obituary, he enjoyed playing music with his friends, and was involved in many sports, including Ultimate Frisbee.
A service for Samuel George will be held on Saturday at 10AM at Christ Church on Henry Street.
