Binghamton's biggest parade is just 4 days away.

And you can help out the less fortunate in our area by bringing food or money to donate to CHOW. 15 minutes before the Saint Patrick's Day Parade starts on Saturday, CHOW volunteers will walk the parade route down Court and Main Streets collecting non-perishable food and cash.

CHOW Director Mike Leahey says one of the organization's largest food drives will help stock the warehouse's empty shelves. "This is a very difficult time of year for people and it's also one of our neediest times of year. So we're hoping everyone will come down, enjoy the parade, and consider donating to a neighbor in need."

The parade begins at 1:30 pm. Leahey asks people not to bring glass items. For more information contact CHOW at 724-9130.
