The Goodwill Theater's Songbook Concert Series continues on Friday night, featuring Standard Time.
It's a tour with Lina Koutrakos and Rick Jensen. Both performers are extremely well respected and award-winning. For instance, Koutrakos has been heralded by Billboard as "the real thing." Koutrakos says her musical palate this evening will be wide and diverse. "Rick and I kind of grew up in the night clubs in New York City so we got to hear a lot of these old songs and new songs over and over again. It gave us a lot of time and room to sort of twist them around and continue to interpret them."
Friday night's performance will be at 7 pm at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage at 46 to 48 Willow Street in Johnson City. Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for students ands seniors.
