Davis College is celebrating the recent success of its basketball teams.
It's men's team won the 2013 Bible College National Invitational Tournament this past weekend in Mount Hope, West Virginia. This is the second championship for Davis in three years. To get there, the team had to win its Shenandoah-Chesapeake Conference championship.
Head coach Dan Rathmell is impressed by his team's ability to compete against schools ten times larger than Davis College. "Every day before the game we were saying we want to keep our testimony. We want to play harder than the other team and we want to have more fun than the other team. And I think it was definitely clear that we had more fun night in and night out."
The women's team has also won the Shenandoah-Chesapeake conference the past two years.
