Broome County has announced a panel of local leaders to oversee the direction of the newly created Energy Development Office.
The Energy Initiatives Panel will be co-chaired by County Executive Debbie Preston and BCC President Kevin Drumm. The group is comprised of 12 other individuals, including a Republican and a Democrat from the County Legislature and several local business people. The panel, which is expected to meet quarterly, will provide advice on energy efficiency and potential new sources of power.
