Snow covered roads Monday afternoon may have been a factor in a fatal accident in the Town of Union.
New York State Police say 34 year-old Heather Shaw of Endicott lost control of her car while going around a slight curve on Day Hollow Road. She crossed the center line and was hit head-on by a pick-up truck. Shaw was taken to Wilson Hospital where she passed away as a result of her injuries.
