Binghamton Restaurant Week continues to go strong with a full house for lunch at the Lost Dog Cafe.

At the Lost Dog Cafe in downtown Binghamton, lunch is $10 while dinner is $20. Both menus feature the restaurant's signature rigatoni ala vodka.  Specialty items on the menu include a Spanish steak with pepper and capers served with mashed potatoes.  The Lost Dog is a Restaurant Week veteran, having participated since the beginning in the Spring of 2010.

Co-owner Marie McKenna says that this time, the restaurants have advertised as far as Ithaca and Owego to bring people to the area for this special week. "Locally owned businesses, we give back to our community. You're not having to call a headquarters somewhere if you need a gift certificate for a fundraiser. We care about our town, we care about giving back, we know everybody and because of this we've all become really good friends too, the various restaurants. It's just a really great business model I think. It's a wonderful way to get the community together and let the small businesses get to know each other as well."

This Restaurant Week features the largest number of eateries, with 23 places to choose from. It ends following dinner this Thursday.
