An out of town man is in jail accused of robbing the CVS in Owego Wednesday night.
The Tioga County Sheriff's Office says 62 year-old John Malowsky of Attica, New York robbed the CVS at about 7:40 pm. A deputy responded and the man wouldn't surrender. Police say when a second deputy arrived, Malowsky showed a knife and ran off. He was caught at the corner of North Ave and Temple Street. Police say Malowsky is also suspected of robberies in Corning, Big Flats and Batavia.
