Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church is getting in the holiday spirit.
Parishioners are preparing for the annual Easter Bazaar taking place this Saturday at the church's parish hall. About 30 volunteers, both young and old, were rolling and pinching potato pyrohy on Wednesday. The bazaar will also feature other Ukrainian food like holubtsi, paska and kobasa as well as traditional decorated Easter eggs and other crafts.
Bill Czebiniha says "It's very pleasant, as the people come and are very nice. And we have dinners that we sell. We'll have a really nice day. Appreciate anyone coming out. We'll have a ball."
The Easter Bazaar takes place this Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church is located at 230 Ukrainian Hill Road in Johnson City.
