The 7th Annual Sodexo Health Fair was held on Monday at Binghamton University.
The event, which is part of National Nutrition Month, featured 75 vendors from the university and local community. There was also live music, free exercise classes, cholesterol screenings, and food sampling. Despite the weather, the fair drew large crowds of people interested in learning more about living a healthier lifestyle.
Bob Griffin, Area Marketing Coordinator for Sodexo, says the health fair reflects the company's committment to fitness and well-being from a community perspective. "It's not just about our relationship with the university or our partners here, it's about the community in general and what we can do for them as far as bringing information together, bringing a lot of great vendors together, giving folks an opportunity to get a work out, do a little exercise, walk the track. It's really a great, I think, celebration of health and wellness in our community."
