The Broome County Sheriff's Office has identified a man they call a person of interest in a double homicide investigation.

Police are looking for 39 year-old Aaron Powell. He is the estranged husband of one of the victims, 35 year-old Christina Powell. She and 24 year-old Mario Masciarelli were found dead inside of Powell's home at 4185 Lisi Lane in the Town of Binghamton on Friday. According to an initial Sheriff's Office press release, it appeared that Powell was strangled and Masciarelli was beaten over the head with a blunt object.  Police believe that the person of interest, Aaron Powell, is driving a black 2007 GMC Denali SUV, with the license plate GDU-3346. Police have searched Aaron Powell's last known address at 31 Milford Street in Binghamton.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Broome County Sheriff's Office at 778-1911.  All calls will be kept confidential.
