Police say they have arrested the woman who has been stealing people's wallets and purses at stores along the Vestal Parkway.
The investigation has been going on for four months. Police arrested 60-year old Linda Reed of Clinton Street in Binghamton and charged her with multiple counts of grand larceny. Police say Reed went to Wal-Mart and the Weis on Rano Boulevard in Vestal and stole more than $600 and 15 credit cards. Police say none of the credit cards were accessed. Reed is due in Vestal court next Thursday.
