There's a new eatery and bar in downtown Binghamton.
Brothers Mike and Tom De'Angelo and another business partner opened Zona about two months ago at the corner of Hawley and Washington streets. It offers a variety of Southwestern, Asian and American dishes, including quesadillas, tacos, burritos and cheese burgers.
Mike De'Angelo says his business has a great location. And, he's excited to be part of Restaurant Week. De'Angelo says, "We have the new student housing right across the street, 20 Hawley Street, and student housing down the street. We wanted to offer a variety of food that isn't offered in downtown Binghamton. There's nothing else that has what we offer downtown."
Zona is open for lunch and dinner. Hours are Tuesdays through Fridays - 11:30 am until 1 am. And, Saturdays through Mondays - 4:30 pm until about Midnight.
