Recap: Kansas City vs. Milwaukee
Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Max Ramirez knocked in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning to lift the Kansas City Royals to a 3-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in Cactus League action on Wednesday.
Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas added one RBI apiece for the Royals, who moved to 5-0 in exhibition games this season.
Tim Collins earned the win after tossing a scoreless seventh inning and Michael Mariot picked up his second save of the spring with a perfect ninth frame. Luke Hochevar started for the Royals and gave up two runs on one hit and three walks while striking out two over 1 2/3 innings.
Logan Schafer went 3-for-3 with an RBI double and Blake Lalli also doubled in a run for the Brewers, who fell to 1-5 in spring training action.
Santo Manzanillo was saddled with the loss after giving up the go-ahead run in his only inning of work.
