Wizards' Beal to miss Sixers game

Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards announced that Bradley Beal will miss Wednesday's game versus Philadelphia with an injured wrist.

Beal, who ranks third among all rookies with an average of 13.2 points per game in 41 contests this season, was recently selected by the NBA to participate in the 2013 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star Weekend festivities on Feb. 15.

Garrett Temple will replace Beal in the starting lineup.
