From the County Executive's Office:
Broome County Executive Debbie Preston today announced the next in a series of County-wide meetings to present and discuss feedback received from the surveys completed for the Broome County Comprehensive Plan. The meeting will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 at the Endicott Visitors Center, located at 300 Lincoln Ave., Endicott.
“As we continue to gather information and facilitate a community dialogue for our Comprehensive Plan, it is imperative that the public participates in the process,” said Broome County Executive Debbie Preston. “Discussions that will lay the groundwork for the future of Broome County are important for all community members to actively participate in.”
In addition to presenting the survey results, the Community Meeting will ask residents about their vision for the future of the County:
- What are the County’s strengths and weaknesses;
- What opportunities should we be pursuing; and
- What are the threats we should be preparing for?
Previous meetings have been held in the Towns of Chenango and Windsor.
